Congratulations, dear Kelly!!!
Please hang on and don't quit! You can do it, just hang on through tough time if it ever comes again. 

Somebody gave me this little card with a little poem in about 1991 - I still have it - right in front of me at all times at my desk, all stained and frayed. I reread it and it gives me that nudge to keep going again and again. Here it is:

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
When you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must but don't you quit.

For life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns.
And many a person turns about,
When she might have won had she stuck it out.
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow!

Often the goal is nearer than it seems
To the faint and struggling heart; 
Often the struggler has given up, 
When she might have captured the victor's cap.
And she learned too late when night came down, 
How close she was to the golden crown.

Success is a failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt.
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar.
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst that you shouldn't quit.
